You will have a topical numbing agent applied for 40-60 minutes. If needed or as an alternative, injectable nerve blocks are available for pain management. 

• RF-microneedling uses tiny needles with radiofrequency (laser) to strategically map the entire treatment area (face or other) twice. Generally it is well tolerated although higher settings or certain areas can be more tender.
• CO2 uses microscopic columns of energy into superficial and/or deep layers of the skin to induce collagen and elastin formation, as well as remove dead skin, pigment, and uneven texture of the skin by removing the outermost layer.

After the RF Microneedling treatment you will be red/pink/mild swelling afterward and you could potentially bruise however there is no significant downtime.

After the CO2 Skin Resurfacing treatment there will be some down time required. The more aggressive treatment settings, the greater the tissue response. You can experience swelling, redness, peeling, and/or weeping which generally lasts 3-5 days on facial treatments and 21 days for body treatments

With ether treatment, you want to wear sunscreen daily for a minimum of 3-4 weeks and avoid any prolonged sun exposure

If the treatment area is being maintained (or not severe), less sessions are required to achieve your result. If the area your treating is moderate-severity, 3+ sessions may be required. Younger skin has a slightly superior ability to generate collagen compared to older skin.

No one person is going to respond the same to every treatment. A combination of treatments in addition to maintenance will achieve the best results.  Clients often combine these treatments with PRP on the same day, and/or Dermal Fillers /Botox/Dysport on an alternative date. 

RF-microneedling treatments are suggested to be done 4 weeks apart.

CO2 appointments are suggested to be done 6 weeks apart. If you do RF-microneedling with CO2 in the same treatment, the next treatment will be scheduled at 6 weeks.

Subtle results are seen at 4-6 weeks, optimal results are seen at 3-6 months after 3 treatments. This is the time required to build a noticeable collagen network.

Your practitioner will always examine the treatment area to ensure you are a good candidate prior to treatment. RF-microneedling clients cannot have an allergy to metal and/or have a pacemaker or cardiac rhythm abnormality.
