WHAT IS LUMECCA IPL?
The INMODE® LUMECCA IPL is a laser that can reduce vascular lesions, including port wine stains, facial, truncal, and leg telangiectasias, rosacea, erythema of rosacea, angiomas and spider angiomas, poikiloderma of Civatte, superficial leg veins and venous malformations.
LUMECCA effectively treats benign pigmented epidermal lesions, including dyschromia, hyperpigmentation, and ephelides (freckles).
HOW DOES INMODE LUMECCA WORK?
Lumecca uses INTENSE PULSED LIGHT THERAPY to target certain colour in the skin. When the skin is heated, your body gets rid of the unwanted cells, and that gets rid of the thing you're being treated for.

FAQ'S
PRE TREATMENT CARE
2-4 WEEKS PRIOR
Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self tanners 4 weeks prior to treatment.
A few days before your treatment avoid skin irritants such as;
- Products containing tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids, vitamin C/ascorbic acid, astringents, etc.
DAY OF TREATMENT
Skin must be clean and free of makeup, lotions, oils, serums, etc. Make sure area is hair free prior to your appointment (possible reduction).
POST TREATMENT CARE
- Wait 1 week minimum to exfoliate the area. Then proceed to do so 3-5 times per week.
- Avoid sweating, heat, hot tubs & saunas for 2-3 days post treatment.
- Avoid the sun. SUNSCREEN IS A MUST!
- Make-up can be applied immediately after.
- DO NOT pick/scratch the skin.
- Be sure to rebook in the proper time frame of your treatment for ultimate results.
- Notify your treatment provider if you experience any blistering, excessive swelling/redness or a rash on the treated area.
